1 whole chicken of 1200g to 1400g
1 teaspoon garam masala
3 tablespoons garlic/garlic paste
10 - 12 green chilli - cut into large pieces
4 tablespoons mastered oil
5 tablespoons oil
3 large onions
3 teaspoons red chilli powder
2 teaspoons turmeric powder
Fresh corriander - chopped
Salt to taste
First clean the chicken and cut it into 10-12 small pieces. Add Mastered oil, red chilli powder, turmeric powder to the chicken pieces and mix it well and
leave it for up to 5-10 minutes.
Heat 100 ml oil in a large thick bottomed non stick pan. Add the onion, and fry them till they are golden brown. Then
add the ginger/garlic paste & fry for another 3 minutes.
At this point we can add half cup of water so as to make the onions pulpier. Now add
the chicken pieces. Fry it for approximately 15-20 minutes until chicken
boiled 70%. Add a large cup of water. Stir once in a while.
After approximately 10 minutes add green chilli & garam masala.
Cook this for another 10 minutes & turn off the heat. When serving, garnish with
chopped fresh coriander.
